About the Role
The Provincial Treasury is seeking a dedicated Administrative Officer to support and interlink various functions within its operations in Cape Town, Western Cape. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and administer nominations for training in financial systems.
- Build capacity among users of transversal financial systems through effective training initiatives.
- Maintain and verify databases and reports related to training interventions.
- Handle the verification and reconciliation of financial accounts.
- Supervise human resource staff to ensure smooth operational workflows.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Management.
- A minimum of 3 years of clerical experience with financial systems.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Constitution of RSA, Public Financial Management Act, and Public Service Act.
- Understanding of clerical duties and data capturing practices.
- Basic knowledge of financial administration systems such as PERSAL, BAS, and LOGIS.
- Familiarity with the Labour Relations Act and HR practices.
