What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the Mental Health and Substance Abuse program.
  • Ensure the acquisition of goods and services in line with the operational plan.
  • Prepare, receive, and manage invoices for payment to service providers.
  • Process documents from the Mental Health Review Board (MHRB) and request reports as needed.
  • Monitor program expenditure and consolidate financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of operation plans, budget projections, and adjustments.
  • Maintain records and enter information into the system, generating reports as required.
  • Manage allocated resources effectively and supervise subordinates and learners in the program.
  • Develop effective communication and report writing skills to support the team.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate/Grade 12 plus three (3) years of relevant experience, or a Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Public Administration/Public Management recognized by SAQA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data capturing.
  • Strong administrative skills coupled with innovative thinking and sound interpersonal relationships.
  • Excellent planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • A pleasant telephone personality and the ability to work independently.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
