What You’ll Do
- Administer and maintain the Labour Relations database, ensuring accurate registration and capturing of Labour Relations cases.
- Compile and submit reports to track the progress of cases and decisions made.
- Coordinate meetings for the Directorate and accurately record minutes to ensure proper documentation.
- Provide financial, procurement, and logistics administration support for the Directorate, ensuring smooth operations.
- Manage travel bookings and ensure effective administration of resources for the Directorate.
- Monitor the implementation of decisions taken, ensuring accountability and compliance.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) or National Diploma in Management Sciences.
- Relevant experience in a Labour Relations Management environment, with a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of Labour Relations legislation, the Public Service Act, and Public Service Regulations.
- Understanding of disciplinary, grievances, and dispute processes within the public service.
- Familiarity with the LOGIS System in the Public Service is advantageous.
- Strong basic numeracy, interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Attributes such as being resourceful, creative, trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to work independently and under pressure.
