What You’ll Do
- Administer and authorize Injury on Duty processes and payments.
- Compile and maintain accurate statistics for reporting purposes.
- Verify and capture all necessary documentation related to claims.
- Handle inquiries from employers, members, and the Compensation Fund.
- Process and validate payments, including arrears and new payments.
- Confirm pension benefits and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Collaborate with other business units and respond to stakeholder queries.
- Train, supervise, and develop staff, ensuring a cohesive team environment.
- Maintain discipline and communicate changes effectively within the unit.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant National Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences (minimum 360 credits).
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar environment, with at least one year in a supervisory role, or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Civil Pension Software (CIVPEN).
- Understanding of Employee Benefits and applicable legislation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Customer service orientation and ethical business conduct.
