What You’ll Do
- Barcode and track all assets, ensuring proper identification and location management.
- Conduct thorough asset verification and inventory spot checks across various facilities.
- Identify and investigate slow-moving or unverified inventory using BI tools.
- Capture and manage all asset movements, adjustments, transfers, and donations.
- Maintain and roll out asset and inventory applications for departmental use.
- Provide effective Helpdesk support for asset management inquiries.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Accounting or Mathematics as a passed subject, or relevant experience focusing on key performance areas.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management practices, asset verification, or inventory management.
- Willingness to travel within the Western Cape and stay in nurse homes when necessary.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in computer applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of asset verification scanning and inventory management processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette.
