What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Patient Administration section, ensuring effective management of medical records, admissions, and discharges.
  • Train, develop, and monitor staff performance, facilitating professional growth and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and conduct internal audits to ensure accountability and efficiency.
  • Compile and submit monthly reports on patient administration metrics, including waiting times and file archival.
  • Implement quality improvement programs to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure efficient cash management and proper handling of state funds collected in the department.

What You’ll Need

  • A Standard 10 certificate/Grade 12.
  • A degree or national diploma in Public Management, Administration, or Financial Management.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of clerical or administrative experience in Patient Administration.
  • A valid code EB driver’s licence.
  • Proficiency in E-Health patient registration and other related computer programs.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures pertaining to revenue and patient administration.
  • Excellent supervisory and managing abilities, alongside finance and accounting skills.
