What You’ll Do
- Type and prepare various documents and correspondence.
- Administer logistical matters, including requisitioning stationery and equipment.
- Maintain room inventories and ensure proper filing systems are in place.
- Keep accurate leave records, registers, and files for personnel.
- Arrange travel and subsistence allowances for section personnel.
- Manage and coordinate telephone accounts for the section.
- Report on state property and losses, ensuring compliance with regulations.
What You’ll Need
- Proven competency in the core functions of the role.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- South African citizenship with documentary proof required at the interview.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant courses related to administration will be an advantage.
- General computer literacy skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
