What You’ll Do
- Assist the Administrative Officer and Senior Administrative Officer in managing health statistics within the Sub-district.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of health data for Primary Health Care (PHC), Hospital and other related services.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of information systems, including managing the DITCOM process and register.
- Keep accurate registers for computers, printers, and consumables.
- Provide technical assistance to users regarding system-related queries, including online and telephonic support.
- Perform office administration tasks, including filing, handling telephone communications, and managing letters and office equipment.
- Support primary health care facilities and hospitals in managing folder disposal and archiving processes.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
- Relevant working experience in Information Management and familiarity with Health Information Systems such as Clinicom, PHCIS, and others.
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s licence.
- Strong numerical, data analysis, presentation, and training skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent).Experience: Appropriate relevant working experience in Information Management and experience of Health Information Systems (Clinicom, PHCIS, Sinjani, Ideal Health Facility, SPV, EDRweb and BI), including monitoring and evaluation of performance information and systems.
Inherent requirements of the job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good numerical, data analysis, presentation and training skills and leadership abilities.
Good working knowledge.

Job Duties
Assist AO and SAO in all health statistics within the Sub-district.Responsible for good quality data, PHC, HAST, CBS and Hospital.
Assist Information management in implementation of information systems, including DITCOM process and register.
Responsible for computer, printer and consumables registers.
Assist all users with all system related queries and assist users with online and telephonic helpdesk calls.
Render a supportive function to primary health care facilities and hospital in Stellenbosch Sub-district, with regards to information management.
Office administration with regards to filing process, telephone and letters, office equipment and other stock.
Support to supervisor and staff members.
Support facilities and hospital with folder management disposal and archive processes.
