Closing Dates

Key Responsibilities
Recipients of the bursary will be expected to maintain satisfactory academic progress and may be required to participate in vacation work, Work-Integrated Learning (WIL), or job shadowing. A two-year work-back period is mandatory upon completion of studies.
Requirements/Qualifications
Eligible candidates must:
- Be South African citizens aged 18-25
- Be in Grade 12 or have completed Matric with at least 60% in Mathematics, Physical Science, and related subjects
- Intend to pursue full-time studies at an accredited South African tertiary institution in 2026
- Demonstrate a passion for the water sector
- Come from historically disadvantaged backgrounds
- Not hold any other bursary or financial assistance
Preference is given to female students, students with disabilities, and those from Vaal Central Water’s fence-line communities in the Free State and Northern Cape.

Academic Requirements (APS)
