What You’ll Do

  • Plan and prepare files and relevant documentation for vetting investigations.
  • Conduct thorough documentary inquiries and gather information through interviews.
  • Write comprehensive reports based on findings from interviews and investigations.
  • Compile and submit regular reports to the Director of Vetting Management.
  • Provide valuable inputs for developing and implementing policies and guidelines in the vetting process.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  • Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Social Sciences, Psychology, Counselling, Investigation, Social Work, Criminology, or related fields.
  • At least 1 year of experience in administration, client interaction, or field investigation.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential.
  • Strong computer literacy and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven report writing skills and ability to engage with diverse individuals effectively.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of the public service legislative framework.
