What You’ll Do
- Provide candidates with necessary tools and materials for assessments.
- Prepare materials and tools a day before assessment tasks.
- Safeguard workshop and assessment areas, including machines and tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping within the workshop.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on assessment aids and machinery.
- Carry out safety activities in the workshop and transport assets as needed.
What You’ll Need
- Completed Grade 10/Standard 8 (ABET Level 4).
- One to two years of relevant experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning materials and techniques.
- Good communication skills, including reading and writing.
- Technical background knowledge of trade practices.
- Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks on machinery.
- Capability to maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Requirements
Must have successfully completed Grade 10/ Standard 8/ (ABET Level 4).A minimum of one to two years’ relevant experience will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Basic knowledge of 106 cleaning.
Knowledge to prepare materials and tools for assessment tasks.
Communication, reading and writing skills.
Technical background knowledge of trade.
Skills to use cleaning material.
good knowledge of performing minor maintenance and repairs on assessment aids and machinery.
Ability to clean the workshop and equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning materials and tools and well-kept store.
Basic health and safety.
Ability to choose the correct assessment material and tools for the trade.
Ability to identity stock required.
Ability to read and write.
To prepare material and tools for assessment tasks, communication, reading and writing skills.
Technical background of the trade.
To use cleaning materials.

Job Duties
Provide candidates with necessary tools, material and / or other services where needed.Properly prepare material and tools for assessment tasks a day before assessment.
Safeguard workshop/ assessment area, machines, tools and consumable material.
Maintain cleanliness and general good housekeeping within the workshop / assessment area.
Perform minor maintenance and repairs on assessment aids and machinery.
Carry out safety activities in the workshop/assessment area and transport allocated assets etc.
