About the Role
The South African Police Service (SAPS) Academy in Philippi is looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Clerk Supervisor. This essential position plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of procurement and logistical operations within the SAPS. What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee the procurement and logistics for moveable government property.
- Administer and monitor fleet management processes.
- Develop and maintain an organized filing system for reports and documents.
- Coordinate the processing of all relevant reports to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to the Public Finance Management Act in all operational aspects.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
- At least four (4) years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
- A relevant three (3) year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and one other official language.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Competency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
