What You’ll Do

  • Authorize final payments and journals using the Basic Accounting System (BAS) and LOGIS.
  • Clear suspense accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage and administer revenue, receipts, and petty cash.
  • Oversee the travel agency account and perform creditors reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure financial procedures are followed correctly.

What You’ll Need

  • A 3-Year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Financial Management (NQF level 6/7 recognized by SAQA).
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Familiarity with BAS and LOGIS systems.
  • Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999, and Treasury Regulations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail.
