What You’ll Do

  • Receive and capture manual revenue and expenditure cash books for Traditional Authorities.
  • Input rectifying journals on the Walker financial system.
  • Reconcile cashbook deposits and payments to bank statements.
  • Ensure accurate allocation of grants and salaries within cashbooks.
  • File posted cash books and journals appropriately.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Finance/Accounting or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in Public Finance.
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
  • Familiarity with the Walker Financial Management System and Public Service policies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a commitment to honesty and integrity.
