What You’ll Do
- Oversee the delivery of social work services focused on the care, support, and protection of vulnerable groups.
- Supervise and mentor social workers, social auxiliary workers, and volunteers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Stay updated on new developments and best practices in the field of social work.
- Manage administrative functions within the unit, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Address social instability issues through relevant interventions and community programs.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (NQF level 7) recognized by SAQA.
- Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions as a Social Worker.
- A minimum of 7 years of post-registration experience in social work.
- A valid driver’s license is essential for the role.
