What You’ll Do
- Provide clinical governance and administration to ensure high standards of care.
- Deliver clinical services in cardiology, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Engage in research activities contributing to the fulfillment of the MPhil degree.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and development.
- Facilitate effective communication through report generation and consultation with patients and colleagues.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist.
- Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist (Independent Practice) in Medicine.
- A commitment to commuted overtime as required by the role.
- Strong knowledge of common cardiovascular disorders and effective management systems.
- Excellent clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in various patient contexts.
