What You’ll Do

• Provide clinical governance and administration to ensure high standards of care.
• Deliver clinical services in cardiology, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Engage in research activities contributing to the fulfillment of the MPhil degree.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Facilitate effective communication through report generation and consultation with patients and colleagues.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist (Independent Practice) in Medicine.
• A commitment to commuted overtime as required by the role.
• Strong knowledge of common cardiovascular disorders and effective management systems.
• Excellent clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in various patient contexts.
