About the Role
The Department of Employment and Labour is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner: Human Resource Management to join its Provincial Office in Kimberley, Northern Cape. What You’ll Do
- Monitor and manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent.
- Facilitate the processing and approval of service benefits for employees.
- Oversee and manage the termination of service procedures within the province.
- Ensure the establishment and implementation of HR policies are up to standard.
- Supervise the management of human resources, financial assets, and equipment within the division.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management or Public Management at NQF Level 6, recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of two years of functional experience in a human resource management environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including the PFMA, PSR, PSA, LRA, EEA, and PSCBC procedures.
- Proficient in negotiation, people management, problem-solving, communication, and report writing skills.
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.

Requirements
An undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management/Public Management at NQF Level 6 as recognised by SAQA.Driver's License will be an added advantage.
Two (2) years functional experience in human resource management environment.
Knowledge: Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Public Service Regulations (PSR), Public Service Act (PSA), Labour Relations Act (LRA), Employment Equity Act (EEA), PSCBC and CCMA Procedures, Batho Pele Principles.
Skills: Negotiation, People Management, Problem Solving, Presentation, Planning and Organising, Communication, Computer Literacy, and Report Writing.
Job Duties
Monitor the Recruitment and Selection process.Facilitate the processing and approve service benefits.
Provide and monitor termination of service at the province.
Monitor establishment and the implementation of HR policies.
Supervise resources (Human, Finance, Equipment/ Assets) in the Division.
