The Department of Public Service and Administration is seeking a passionate Senior Personnel Practitioner: Training and Development based in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development programmes in line with WSP and departmental goals.
- Manage the Compulsory Induction Programme (CIP) and orientation for new employees.
- Liaise with the National School of Government (NSG) for administrative and certification needs.
- Communicate training opportunities and interventions effectively within the department.
- Obtain necessary approvals for all training initiatives and liaise with service providers.
- Ensure compliance with ETQA specifications and maintain training records.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and compile reports related to training services.
- Support the management of the training budget and process invoices for training conducted.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Appropriate experience in Training and Development.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of HR development regulatory frameworks, including the Skills Development Act and Employment Equity Act.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
