What You’ll Do

• Lead the overall strategic and operational management of clinical services.
• Develop and implement policies and practices regarding patient admission, treatment, and discharge.
• Strengthen partnerships within the regional and district health care systems.
• Ensure compliance with national and provincial health policies.
• Manage human resources effectively, ensuring the sustainability of clinical departments.
• Oversee special projects and portfolios as delegated by the CEO.
• Promote training, teaching, and research opportunities in collaboration with higher education institutions.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Practitioner.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Medical Practitioner.
• Proven managerial experience in a healthcare environment, with strong leadership and operational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical services management, human resource management, and financial resource management.
• Familiarity with national and provincial health delivery systems and relevant regulations.
• Strong communication and conflict management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to analyze statistical and financial data.
• A valid driver’s licence.
