What You’ll Do
- Manage and provide service desk support, ensuring all ICT issues are resolved efficiently.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot ICT hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Support and manage servers, Active Directory, DHCP, VoIP systems, and Wi-Fi.
- Ensure ICT security protocols are followed, including backups and asset management.
- Liaise with service providers for technical support and maintenance of ICT systems.
- Compile ICT reports and provide technical information to management.
- Supervise and mentor ICT Technicians, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Contribute to ICT projects and infrastructure improvements, driving continuous service enhancement.
- Prioritize and escalate ICT incidents and requests as necessary.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.
- A recognized National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification.
- ITIL V3/V4 Foundation or COBIT certification and Server Administration Certification are required.
- At least three years of relevant experience in ICT support with hands-on server knowledge.
- A valid driver’s license and experience in hardware, software, networking, and ICT infrastructure support.
- Familiarity with server administration, desktop support, Active Directory, DHCP, VoIP, and ICT security.
- Relevant ICT certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+) will be advantageous.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to problem-solve under pressure.

Requirements
A Grade 12 / Senior Certificate.A recognised three-year National Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification, ITIL V3/V4 Foundation or COBIT and Server Administration Certification are required.
Candidates must have at least three years’ relevant experience in ICT support and hands on server experience, a valid driver’s licence, and proven experience in hardware, software, networking and ICT infrastructure support.
Knowledge of server administration, desktop support, Wi-Fi, Active Directory, DHCP, VoIP, ICT security, help desk operations and second line IT support is essential.
Relevant ICT certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, HCIA, VMware, Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate and CompTIA Security+ will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, planning and time- management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and extended hours when required, are essential.
