What You’ll Do
- Implement wellness management programmes to support employee health.
- Promote healthy lifestyles, including nutrition and fitness initiatives.
- Provide proactive information on financial wellness and resilience workshops.
- Market Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) services effectively.
- Coordinate and implement communicable and non-communicable disease programmes.
- Assist with chronic illness management in the workplace, particularly HIV/AIDS and TB.
- Facilitate educational sessions on HIV, TB, and STIs.
- Organize and commemorate events such as World AIDS Day.
- Manage health and productivity programmes to enhance workplace performance.
- Support substance abuse awareness and health promotion initiatives.
- Coordinate blood donation services and wellness clinics.
- Provide logistical support for health and wellness events.
- Implement and administer employee health and wellness policies.
- Raise awareness about wellness and productivity management policies across departments.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate and an NQF 6 qualification with 360 credits in Social Work or Psychology.
- Current professional registration with the South African Council for Social Service.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in an Employee Health and Wellness environment.
- Knowledge of Employee Health Wellness programmes and the DPSA EHW Strategic framework.
- Familiarity with health and behavioural risks in the workplace and programme implementation.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in report writing, presentation, and facilitation.
- Negotiation and computer skills, particularly with the MS Office suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to travel as required and a valid driver’s license.
