What You’ll Do
- Implement effective marketing and branding strategies for the North West Government
- Coordinate and manage website content, ensuring it is up-to-date and informative
- Develop promotional materials, including flyers and posters, to communicate government activities
- Organize internal events and participate in communication plans during public meetings
- Enhance the visibility and reputation of the North West Government Corporate brand
- Support district offices in branding efforts and provide marketing assistance
- Foster relationships with stakeholders and government clients to promote collaboration
- Generate reports and action plans following public meetings to assess engagement effectiveness
What You’ll Need
- A three-year tertiary qualification in corporate communication, public management, or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6)
- A minimum of two years’ experience in communications or corporate branding and marketing, with at least one year in a supervisory role
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- A certificate in graphic design and experience as a layout artist or in web development would be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of corporate communication and marketing principles
- Excellent communication, report writing, and facilitation skills
- Problem-solving abilities and project management skills
