What You’ll Do
- Update and maintain the assets and database register for accurate record-keeping
- Conduct and control the movements of government assets
- Identify surplus, obsolete, and underperforming assets for better resource allocation
- Develop and maintain a disposal plan for assets no longer in use
- Supervise staff and manage loss control and risk management processes
- Perform general supervision to ensure compliance with internal policies
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in SCM, Logistics Management, Asset Management, Finance, or an equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience; a Degree (NQF Level 7) is an added advantage
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and regulations
- Strong analytical and innovative thinking skills
- Proficiency in research, report writing, and workshop presentation
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
