What You’ll Do

• Update and maintain the assets and database register for accurate record-keeping
• Conduct and control the movements of government assets
• Identify surplus, obsolete, and underperforming assets for better resource allocation
• Develop and maintain a disposal plan for assets no longer in use
• Supervise staff and manage loss control and risk management processes
• Perform general supervision to ensure compliance with internal policies

What You’ll Need

• A National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in SCM, Logistics Management, Asset Management, Finance, or an equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
• A minimum of two years’ relevant experience; a Degree (NQF Level 7) is an added advantage
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and regulations
• Strong analytical and innovative thinking skills
• Proficiency in research, report writing, and workshop presentation
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
