What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement plan that aligns with the hospital’s budget.
- Conduct market and product research to identify the best options for high-usage items.
- Coordinate the process of transversal contracts for the three central hospitals.
- Draft specifications, standard operating procedures, and memorandums of understanding (MOU) to support procurement processes.
- Report on all Demand Management activities to relevant internal and external structures.
- Manage human resources within the supply chain management section, focusing on fostering a positive work culture.
- Implement change management initiatives and conflict resolution strategies to maintain a productive work environment.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a 3-year National Degree or Diploma in Public Management, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
- Relevant experience in procurement processes and systems.
- Supervisory experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of computerized Procurement Management Systems, specifically Syspro.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong managerial, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
