What You’ll Do

  • Implement key control and incident management procedures and policies.
  • Draft and enforce the Key Management Policy for compliance.
  • Conduct periodic key inventory inspections and audits.
  • Prepare and present quarterly reports on key management and incidents.
  • Liaise with stakeholders regarding reported incidents and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate training on key management and security awareness.
  • Ensure spare keys are available and manage the GPAA’s key depository.
  • Conduct regular inspections of locks and keys for integrity.
  • Manage security for special events, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Develop operational plans for events and assess security risks.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant three-year tertiary qualification in Security Risk Management.
  • At least three years of experience in a security environment as a Key Custodian.
  • Proficient computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license (code 8).
  • Strong knowledge of security regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in security breach investigations and the ability to manage confidential information.
