What You’ll Do

  • Provide financial management services, ensuring adherence to PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
  • Facilitate the preparation of the annual budget and other financial documents.
  • Oversee the effective utilization of funds and communicate relevant procedures.
  • Coordinate budgeting, auditing, and financial functions for the department.
  • Administer procurement of goods and services, managing the Demand Management Plan.
  • Facilitate reporting on supply chain management matters.
  • Supervise and develop staff, ensuring they meet performance agreements.
  • Handle queries from clients related to supply chain matters and assist with general office support.

What You’ll Need

  • Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, or Business Management (NQF 6).
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative environment.
  • Knowledge of Public Service Regulations, Financial procedures, Treasury Regulations, and Basic Accounting System (BAS).
  • Strong computer literacy and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside financial management and report writing abilities.
