The Government Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA) is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Senior Administrative Officer: Monitoring and Evaluation, based in Pretoria. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the effective execution of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities that are vital for enhancing the quality of public service. What You’ll Do
- Provide support to the M&E Management team in executing M&E and research activities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the M&E Policy, Strategy, and Framework.
- Assist with capacity building for business units regarding M&E processes.
- Develop and implement M&E systems and tools for data collection.
- Gather, verify, and analyze information to monitor organizational performance.
- Generate Monitoring and Evaluation reports and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Document and monitor regional office evaluation plans and track implementation of recommendations.
- Support the Data Management and Research teams in their respective activities to ensure effective data collection and analysis.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree) with at least three years of experience in a related environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
- Solid understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation processes and governmental guidelines.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact at all levels.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong relationships.
- A proactive approach to adhering to international best practices in M&E.
