What You’ll Do
- Supervise the cleaning services to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Interpret cleaning service level agreements and ensure deliverables are implemented correctly.
- Conduct regular inspections to guarantee cleanliness of buildings and equipment.
- Report and resolve any cleaning-related issues promptly.
- Maintain inventories of cleaning supplies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with service providers regarding cleaning schedules and pest control.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by cleaning teams and ensure adherence to industry legislation.
- Oversee garden, indoor plant, and fresh flower services to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Conduct monthly audits on cleaning chemicals to ensure environmental safety.
- Manage staff performance, allocate work assignments, and provide training and development.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant B. degree, N Dip, B Tech, or equivalent three-year qualification (minimum 360 credits).
- At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field, with 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy.
- Knowledge of client relations management and employee benefits.
- Understanding of GEPF services, PFMA, and Treasury regulations.
- Familiarity with cleaning safety rules and policies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
