What You’ll Do
- Control access to the Labour Centre and Provincial Office, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the building and offices to maintain a safe environment.
- Secure the flow of information and assets within the premises, preventing unauthorized access.
- Perform internal investigations as required and enforce security rules and regulations.
- Stay updated on evacuation procedures and respond effectively in emergencies.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 / Senior Certificate is essential.
- A valid Grade C Security Certificate (PSIRA) is required.
- At least 12 months of security experience is necessary.
- Knowledge of the Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act and Minimum Information Security Standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal relations.
- Problem-solving abilities and computer literacy are important.
- Planning, organizing, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
