What You’ll Do

  • Oversee security personnel and ensure effective security function across Head Office buildings
  • Manage access control at all entry and exit points in compliance with regulations
  • Monitor and enforce discipline among security staff in line with departmental standards
  • Coordinate patrol duties and ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Administer control room activities and manage security technology aids
  • Identify and report security breaches, taking necessary action to mitigate risks
  • Maintain relevant security registers and ensure compliance with legislative requirements

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) at NQF level 4
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a security role
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language
  • Registration with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) at Grade B or higher
  • Strong knowledge of access control procedures and security protocols
  • Valid driver’s license for at least a light motor vehicle
  • Ability to undergo firearm competency training and maintain certification
  • No criminal or departmental convictions pending, and willing to undergo a vetting process
