What You’ll Do

  • Provide secretarial support to the Director, including managing their diary and appointments.
  • Receive and handle telephone calls, directing inquiries to the relevant personnel.
  • Operate office equipment such as fax and photocopy machines.
  • Liaise with travel agencies to arrange travel for the Chief Director.
  • Process travel claims and follow up on arrangements for the Director.
  • Organize meetings and events, including booking venues and coordinating logistics.
  • Maintain an efficient filing system and manage correspondence for the Director.
  • Draft routine correspondence and reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures to support effective operations.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent qualifications.
  • No prior experience required, making it an excellent opportunity for new entrants to the workforce.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with good telephone etiquette.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a high level of reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to act with tact and discretion.
