What You’ll Do

  • Maintain an accurate diary for the Component Head, coordinating meeting schedules and reminders.
  • Arrange and book venues for meetings, ensuring accommodations align with expected attendance.
  • Organize refreshments for meeting attendees to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle routine correspondence and type documents, reports, and memorandums efficiently.
  • Administer a bring-forward system to manage and track important documents.
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements, including organizing documentation for overseas trips.
  • Submit claims for accommodation and expenditures post-travel.

What You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in English and one other official South African language.
  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4 recognized by SAQA).
  • General computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, and administrative abilities.
  • A customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to extended hours when necessary.
