What You’ll Do
- Provide secretarial support to the Director, managing appointments and events.
- Answer telephone calls and route them to the appropriate individuals.
- Operate office equipment, including fax machines and photocopiers.
- Liaise with travel agencies to arrange travel for the Chief Director.
- Process travel claims and follow up on relevant documentation.
- Organize meetings and events, including venue bookings and refreshments.
- Draft routine correspondence and maintain a filing system.
- Record basic minutes of meetings and manage all correspondence for the Director.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies and maintain high standards of service.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Strong language skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at various levels.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- High reliability and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Good telephone etiquette and communication abilities.
