What You’ll Do

  • Organise logistical arrangements for top management meetings and workshops.
  • Complete supply chain forms prior to procuring goods and services.
  • Follow up on quotations for catering and venues.
  • Coordinate audiovisual and ICT requirements for meetings.
  • Set up boardrooms and ensure the safekeeping of recording equipment.
  • Liaise with Facilities Management for maintenance and cleaning of meeting venues.
  • Provide administrative and secretariat support to various committees.
  • Compile and distribute meeting packs, including agendas and minutes.
  • Record accurate minutes and decisions during meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper record-keeping of documents.
  • Draft correspondence and reports as required.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma in Office Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience in a corporate secretariat environment.
  • Knowledge of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and Public Service Regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills, including minute-taking and report-writing abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, including irregular hours.
