What You’ll Do

  • Receive and capture requisitions into the procurement system.
  • Generate purchase orders in accordance with the correct SCOA allocations.
  • Verify compliance with procurement documents before processing orders.
  • Manage the administration of invoices for payments.
  • Maintain registers and records of orders and submit them to the relevant departments.
  • Address inquiries from internal stakeholders and suppliers efficiently.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of Grade 12 with two years of relevant experience in SCM or Logistics Management, or a National Diploma/Advanced Certificate in SCM, Logistics Management, or an equivalent NQF 6 qualification with one year of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems such as Walker or Logis.
  • Knowledge of prescripts governing Supply Chain Management, including PFMA, PPPFA and Treasury Regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, with good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure, both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
