What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and manage the Archives and Registry functions effectively.
- Supervise the handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence and files.
- Oversee the registration, opening, and dispatching of files.
- Ensure the integrity of records is maintained and protect against unauthorized access.
- Plan tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members.
- Conduct weekly audits of files and manage the maintenance of physical records.
- Handle telephone and other inquiries related to files and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with SAPS Code of Conduct and maintain a high level of discipline among staff.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification.
- At least four years of experience relevant to the role.
- An applicable three-year Diploma / Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- General computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s license for a light motor vehicle is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage extended hours when necessary.
