What You’ll Do
- Apply town and regional planning principles to land development projects.
- Conduct office administration and participate in budget planning activities.
- Engage in human capital development to foster a skilled workforce.
- Undertake research and development initiatives to inform planning decisions.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and community members to ensure inclusive planning processes.
What You’ll Need
- A degree in Urban/Town and Regional Planning or a relevant qualification.
- Registration with the South African Council for Planners (SACPLAN) as a Professional Town and Regional Planner upon appointment.
- A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in Town and Regional Planning.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, project management, and legal compliance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer-aided applications and technical report writing.

Requirements
Applicants must be in possession of a degree in Urban/Town and Regional Planning or relevant qualification.Compulsory registration with SACPLAN as a Professional Town and Regional Planner on appointment.
Three years post qualification Town and Regional Planning experience.
A valid driver’s license.
