What You’ll Do
- Provide direction and supervision for the implementation of nursing plans focused on clinical practice and quality patient care.
- Implement standards, practices, and indicators to ensure high-quality nursing and healthcare.
- Practice nursing in accordance with relevant laws and regulations governing the profession.
- Foster constructive working relationships with nursing staff and other stakeholders.
- Efficiently utilize human, material, and physical resources to enhance patient care.
What You’ll Need
- A Basic R425 qualification (diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse is essential.
- Experience requirements based on grade level:
- Grade 1: No experience required.
- Grade 2: At least 10 years of relevant nursing experience after SANC registration.
- Grade 3: At least 20 years of relevant nursing experience after SANC registration.
- Willingness to work shifts, public holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Strong knowledge of nursing care processes, problem-solving skills, and effective interpersonal abilities.
