What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute formal training programs for Community Health Workers.
  • Facilitate in-service training and skill updates for nursing staff and care workers.
  • Monitor and evaluate training activities to ensure effectiveness and quality.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to enhance the competencies of health workers.
  • Compile training-related reports and manage administrative tasks alongside stakeholders.
  • Support additional training initiatives as identified by district needs.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification or equivalent nursing qualification allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • Registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC is mandatory.
  • For Grade 2: At least 10 years of relevant nursing experience after SANC registration.
  • For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant nursing experience after SANC registration is required.
  • A valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write reports effectively.
