What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, and implementing care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Supervise and support clinical staff in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Educate nursing personnel on specialized clinical procedures and protocols.

What You’ll Need

• A Basic R425 qualification or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
• A post-basic nursing qualification in Medical and Surgical Nursing Science: Critical Care Nursing: General, or a relevant postgraduate diploma.
• A minimum of 4 years’ relevant nursing experience for Grade 1 or 14 years for Grade 2 after registration with SANC.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and night duties as required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with basic computer literacy.
• A thorough understanding of relevant legislation and policies related to the nursing specialty.
