What You’ll Do
- Provide expert support on Civil Engineering services in accordance with South African Policies and industry guidelines.
- Design and develop innovative systems to tackle practical engineering challenges.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments of municipalities to identify performance issues.
- Evaluate municipal infrastructure planning, development, and maintenance requirements.
- Assist municipalities throughout the infrastructure life cycle, including feasibility studies and project management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement municipal sector master plans.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate Degree in Civil Engineering (B Eng/ BSc Eng) or equivalent qualification at NQF level 7, recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering.
- Compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with client-oriented communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering design, contract management, and local socio-economic infrastructure compliance.
