What You’ll Do

• Conduct preliminary investigations before registering a file or case docket.
• Gather, verify, and coordinate information and documentation for security investigations.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding criminal cases, security breaches, and misconduct.
• Monitor and coordinate operational and physical security measures.
• Safeguard confidential security files and reports in compliance with security protocols.
• Supervise the implementation of key control measures and ensure adherence to departmental key control procedures.
• Manage resources and address audit queries effectively.
• Create and maintain security registers for access control measures.
• Oversee human resources matters related to security personnel, including leave management processes.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 certificate (NQF4) and a National Diploma (NQF6) in Security Management, Policing, or Security Risk Management.
• Grade A PSIRA certificates.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in security services, with supervisory experience being an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Minimum Information Security Standard and departmental policies.
• Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Criminal Procedure Act.
• Excellent communication, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
