What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and coordinate the Internship Programme, ensuring effective placement and support for interns.
- Conduct needs analyses to identify the specific requirements for internship and training programs.
- Compile and manage advertisements for internship opportunities and relevant training programs.
- Organize and execute induction and technical training sessions for interns and mentors.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of interns through monthly reporting and feedback sessions.
- Facilitate quarterly meetings to provide updates and gather insights from interns and mentors.
- Oversee the planning and execution of certification and graduation ceremonies for successful interns.
- Manage the Internal Audit Training Learning Programme, ensuring all learners receive necessary training.
- Liaise with Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges to coordinate Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placements.
- Monitor financial management for youth development programs, ensuring budget adherence.
What You’ll Need
- An NQF level 6 qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field, recognized by SAQA.
- At least 2 years of functional working experience in Human Resource Development or a similar domain.
- Strong knowledge of the legislative framework governing public service, including various Acts and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and people management skills, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Proficient financial management and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with an understanding of group dynamics.
- Strong leadership, change management, and knowledge management abilities.
