What You’ll Do
- Administer recruitment and selection records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in drafting advertisements for vacant posts and facilitate the shortlisting and interview processes.
- Render secretarial services during interviews and prepare formal appointment memos for approvals.
- Capture appointments and personnel information on the PERSAL system, including qualifications and personal details.
- Update registers related to appointments, transfers, and secondments.
- Facilitate the administration of personnel records and remunerative policies.
- Manage probation reviews and confirmations for newly appointed employees.
- Assist candidates with travel claims related to interview attendance.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum NQF level 6 qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field recognized by SAQA.
- At least 2 years of functional working experience in recruitment, selection, and appointments within Human Resource Management.
- PERSAL training or certification is essential.
- Sound knowledge of relevant prescripts and legislative frameworks governing the Public Service.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
