What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee health, support, security, cleaning, and infection control services.
- Supervise personnel matters, including performance management and training initiatives.
- Control finances and procurement processes to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Implement policies and protocols relevant to the various health facets.
- Plan and practice holistic health service delivery on a short, medium, and long-term basis.
- Render clinical services and organize cost-effective healthcare solutions daily.
- Collect and verify health statistics, ensuring timely submission and support for the Facility Manager.
- Engage with the community to promote involvement and awareness regarding health services.
What You’ll Need
- A Basic R425 nursing qualification or equivalent that allows registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- A post-basic nursing qualification in Clinical Nursing Science or a Bachelor Degree in Nursing is essential.
- Registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- A minimum of 9 years of nursing experience post-registration, with at least 5 years of relevant experience after completing a one-year post-basic qualification or postgraduate diploma.
- A valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) is required.
- Strong knowledge of nursing and public service legislation, along with human resource and financial policies.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
