What You’ll Do
- Collect, sort, and deliver documents, files, and parcels to specified addressees and departments.
- Perform pre-trip inspections on departmental vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
- Manage fuel cards and maintain accurate logbooks for vehicle usage.
- Assist with copying, shredding, filing, and registry management as needed.
- Adhere to the Public Service Act, Batho Pele principles, and departmental policies in all tasks.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Follow traffic rules and navigate efficiently using maps or directions during deliveries.
What You’ll Need
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- A Grade 10/Standard 8/NCV Level 2 certificate or equivalent (documentary proof required).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic administrative skills for managing delivery logbooks and organizing files.
- Ability to read maps and follow directions accurately.
- High levels of integrity, punctuality, and reliability.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
