What You’ll Do
- Provide quality clinical care to patients in accordance with departmental programmes.
- Supervise and mentor clinical and auxiliary staff, fostering a culture of learning.
- Manage clinical and non-clinical administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with medico-legal requirements.
- Offer guidance and leadership to achieve strategic healthcare goals and objectives.
- Ensure cost-effective service delivery regarding laboratory services, medicines, and equipment.
What You’ll Need
- A medical qualification allowing registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- For Grade 1: No experience required post-registration for SA qualified employees; 1 year for foreign qualified employees.
- For Grade 2: At least 5 years of experience as a Medical Practitioner for SA qualified employees; 6 years for foreign qualified employees.
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 10 years of experience for SA qualified employees; 11 years for foreign qualified employees.
- Valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel within the district.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage time effectively.
