What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage nursing services to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and standards.
  • Advocate for the promotion of nursing professionalism and ethos.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance healthcare delivery.
  • Monitor and manage human resources and finances within nursing services.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and infection prevention measures.
  • Participate in hospital executive decision-making for strategic planning.
  • Support nursing research initiatives aimed at improving care quality.
  • Manage performance assessments and development plans for nursing staff.

What You’ll Need

  • Basic R425 qualification accredited with the SANC (diploma/degree in nursing).
  • Current registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
  • Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience post-registration.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience in a nursing context.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Nursing Education or Management is an advantage.
  • Valid Code B/EB driver’s license and computer literacy.
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to manage complex tasks.
