What You’ll Do

  • Operate photocopier machines in compliance with safety measures outlined by Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Create photocopies for staff members and maintain logs of photocopier activities.
  • Report any malfunctions of photocopier machines to your supervisor promptly.
  • Scan, bind, and laminate documents as required.
  • Deliver photocopied materials to designated locations and assist with counter service.
  • Manage requests for documents, record their receipt and delivery, and handle counter inquiries.
  • Perform minor maintenance on photocopier machines, including cleaning and basic repairs.
  • Securely store photocopying materials and equipment, and manage the re-ordering of supplies like papers, staples, and toners.

What You’ll Need

  • ABET Level 4 (NQF 1-3) qualification.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate photocopying and reprographic machinery effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to work under pressure.
  • High standards of confidentiality and good customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in two official languages, including isiXhosa and English.
