What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive education and training to student nurses.
• Coordinate clinical learning experiences between college and healthcare facilities.
• Conduct clinical accompaniment and supervision of students in various settings.
• Develop and implement quality assurance programs for nursing education.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance teaching practices and curriculum development.
• Participate in the governance structures of the college and contribute to the development of nursing curricula.
• Support Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities at the campus.

What You’ll Need

• Basic R425 qualification or equivalent, allowing registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse.
• A post-basic nursing qualification in Nursing Education, accredited with SANC.
• Relevant master’s degree (NQF L9) or a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 4 years (Grade 1) or 14 years (Grade 2) of appropriate nursing experience post-registration with SANC.
• Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of nursing education programs and legislation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in teaching, assessment, and curriculum development.
