What You’ll Do

• Investigate adverse business practices and cartel formations that affect consumers.
• Develop and maintain systems for monitoring and evaluating business practices in the province.
• Create effective investigative procedures for priority transgressions impacting consumer rights.
• Perform administrative duties related to case management and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance consumer protection efforts.

What You’ll Need

• A National Senior Certificate and a National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Business Practice, Dispute Resolution, Law, Policing, or relevant Consumer Studies.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably at salary level 7/8.
• Supervisory experience would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Eastern Cape Consumer Protection Act and related regulations.
• Strong problem analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management, planning, and organizational abilities.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
